About the Event

 Learn the basics of how to empower yourself by freeing up the tangled emotions disguising themselves as: 

  • Lack of focus and concentration.
  • Disturbances in your sleep.
  • Loss of energy and/or lack of motivation.
  • You mind wants one thing and your body is doing another.
  • Physical tension in your jaw, neck, shoulders and body due to stress.
  • Overall feeling of out of balance and lack of control.  

This list is an example of what you can learn to sooth and shift.

This ancient practice of self applied acupressure combined with modern cognitive processes is simply like speaking to a trusted friend about what's going with you while tapping on a few easy points on the surface of the skin.  

By tapping on some acupressure points on your body with your fingers you will activate the feel good chemistry that soothes the emotional part of the brain, and allows a new perspective to take hold. 

In this workshop we will be guided to:

  • Privately list your current thoughts, and emotions in a bundle.
  • Tap and put a voice to the current status of disturbance (your bundle).
  • Easily learn the points by tapping along with the leader.
  • Construct a tapping dialog that bridges the gap to what you really want.
  • Activate the feel good chemistry to help calm the emotional parts of the brain.
  • Construct a personal statement of alignment with clarity and purpose.  

Step by step you are guided in every action to create your inner peace even if you don't have access to all the words just yet.  Share only what you want, if at all, your confidentiality is honored.

If there is any concern about touching the face like you usually do in tapping, I have developed a system that does not require us to touch the face and is highly effective.  I wanted to mention that in case there was some concern about that since it's socially not acceptable to touch the face down days.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (aka: Tapping) is a neuro-cognitive practice that can be effective in a group setting.  Learn more on the effectiveness in a group setting
