About the Event

This will be an experiential, interactive workshop. David Kessler, the world’s foremost expert on grief, talks about the loss we feel collectively, especially anticipatory grief—the feeling about what the future holds when everything feels uncertain.  In his work with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, stages of grief, there is a 6th stage: The Meaning of grief.  Collectively, we are all grieving the loss of the old.

In this workshop we will:

  • Create space to dialog the meaning of grief
  • Discuss what grief looks like with social distancing, and creative ways to sit with, be with your grief
  • Dive into naming your grief, how being specific with feelings can bring clarity during times of chaos
  • Look at how to create a container for yourself, for your team to manage the grief
